Manage the GCC wide launch of the surface laptop product and get shoppers to experience the power, usability and ease of the surface laptop launch in a fresh and interesting way.

Solution

To create excitement and curiosity around the launch of surface laptop, we gift wrapped 5 huge boxes and placed them in stores in UAE and Kuwait 10 days before launch. On the day of the launch, we got social influencers and retail staff to tear off the covers and reveal the new surface laptop to a large and curious crowd.

An automated digital facility allowed shoppers to share their experience on social media. This was all supported by a multi-channel campaign using online, social and in-store to recruit, engage, amplify and reward.
